Raphael Clothing

RAPHAEL is a family run business in the Scottish Borders. On the 4th January 2021 our lives were turned upside down when our youngest brother Clark was in a serious car accident, at the age of just 17. He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury as well as other life-threatening injuries. He spent 3 and a half weeks in a coma and a total of 4 and a half months in hospital, where he had to relearn how to walk, talk and eat again. We were told that Clark may never walk again. The significance of the roman numerals (V•XIV•MMXXI) is the date that Clark walked out of the hospital.

One of Clark’s long-term aspirations was to one day own his own business. As a family, we decided to help him start up his own clothing brand to introduce him back into work.

We chose to name the business RAPHAEL, after the Angel of Healing. Raphael will always protect you in your darkest days like he did with Clark and our family.
